SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), is a low latency video streaming protocol which enables remote and cloud-based high-performance video workflows by overcoming packet loss and adding security with sophisticated encryption techniques. Originally developed and open sourced by Haivision, SRT is now used by broadcasters and streamers to address today’s challenges with real-time newsgathering, remote production, and the broadcasters at-home workforce.

“Were thrilled to see how the enthusiasm for the open source SRT technology, and the SRT Alliance, has continued to grow,” said Jesús (Suso) Carrillo, Director of the SRT Alliance for Haivision. “By joining the SRT Alliance, industry leaders like DaletRoss, and AJA are showing their commitment to addressing today’s challenges in live and remote production and delivering exceptional solutions for their clients.”
